Firstly, Brighton is home to one of England’s most famous and popular beaches. You’ll find lots of art stalls, cafés and traditional tearooms along the seafront, and you can enjoy walks up the iconic Brighton Pier with its arcade and funfair.
For a more active beach experience, you can make the most of Yellowave, which is the UK’s first beach sports centre of its kind, and hosts daily games of volleyball, football and rugby.

Brighton boasts 100s of parks and gardens, so there are loads of places to sit and relax. The largest park is Preston Park, and the South Downs National Park is also just a 15-minute drive away and offers a wonderful spot to enjoy the countryside.
You could even enjoy a day-trip to the world-famous white cliffs of Seven Sisters Country Park, which is about 1 hour away by bus or train.
6. Its location is really convenient

Situated on England’s south coast, Brighton has a great location just 50 minutes away from London by train, so it’s easy to explore the UK’s capital.
