What is University Alliance?
Founded in 2006, University Alliance is a group of 17 ‘business-engaged’ universities, which have links to over 16,000 companies. University Alliance’s members include many innovative ‘new’ universities. Their focus is on research that solves real-world problems, so you’ll get a great education while also making a positive impact on the wider community.

Studying at an Alliance university is great preparation for your future career. In fact, 39% of all UK sandwich degrees, which are degrees that feature a year-long work placement before your final year, are delivered by University Alliance members.
